The Taqi Trading Consortium has been doing business in Xak Tural since the first Shaaloani ceruleum mines and refineries opened decades ago. Anyone involved in the industry, and even locals who simply listen to gossip around town, know the Ul'dah-based company has had a hand in quite a few unsavory dealings: unauthorized ceruleum extraction, environmental pollution, bribery, fraud, sky piracy, smuggling and parallel imports, even child labor. Yet, they've always evaded consequences other than the occasional minor fine. And that's just in Tural. To speak of their dealings on other continents would take a very long time.

Inga is frequently seen in Sheshenewezi Springs and other mining or refinery towns handling business on behalf of her adoptive mother's company. In recent years, the Taqi Trading Consortium has seemed to turn over a new leaf, becoming one of the more respected foreign mining concerns, as well as a desirable employer. Do you work in the Shaaloani ceruleum industry? Are you a nosy local? Whatever your connection, both history and ceruleum run deep in the veins of the earth, and they're constantly being dredged up to the surface.

Inga's a woman between several different worlds, interconnected by avarice and circumstance. Her Tonawawta father was born and raised in Luwateninyawawsa, but moved to Gyr Abania after making a lucrative ceruleum deal that he was never too keen on discussing. Her early childhood was spent in the Peaks of Gyr Abania, but after civil unrest, Imperial invasion, and the subsequent violent war displaced her family, she's been in Ul'dah ever since. Any connection to Tonawawta culture, history, or simply meeting others is of great interest to Inga.

Storm Chaser

While she's been in Ul'dah for a long time now, Inga's a devout follow of Rhalgr the Destroyer. Her own interpretation of worship may differ considerably from tradition. Inga finds herself to be closest to the Heaven of Lightning when flying her airship directly into tempestuous squalls. Recently, Inga's been interested in taking the skies of Yyasulani & Alexandria by air wheeler, as though the dome in Xak Tural is some bizarre great cathedral. Others who venerate Rhalgr, as well as more general thrillseekers, might be curious about her strange acts of faith.
